Hi, I’m Karen. A wife, a mum, a lover of style, people, image and fashion. After working in various corporate roles in the travel industry, I’ve turned to my greatest passion – Personal Styling, helping people to look and feel their best every day.

Personal Styling is not my first foray into business ownership. I established (and later sold) a boutique Corporate Travel business in Melbourne for nine years. I founded Travelpac, which addressed the chaos travellers and airports faced when the limitation of travelling with liquids regulations affected us all globally. The Travelpac Inflight accessory was featured in over 40 editorials in newspapers and top fashion magazines and stocked in over 100 stores across Australia.

After my beautiful daughter was born, I remained in the travel industry, my role as Head of Partnerships for a highly regarded B-Corp Certified Travel Management Company.

Working for a purpose-driven travel management company gave me the tools to dig deep and better understand the supplier chain and making ethical choices. More importantly, it helped me better understand what greater purpose I could bring to myself and those around me every day.

It gave me an appreciation and want to learn more about clothing and manufacturing, making ethical choices in fashion, reusing and re-purposing existing pieces for us all to minimise our impact collectively.

Graduating from the Australian Style Institute brought it all together. The love of style, the love of people, the transformation of what the two can create is incredible to watch and uplifting to be a part of. I’d love to share some of that knowledge to give you the strength and confidence to

“bring your best style to your best self, every day” Karen Dalla Riva

Born into an Italian family, my heritage instilled in me a love for family, friends, food and fashion. From a young age, my mother always taught us to take pride in the way we dressed and to never leave the house without a bit of eyeliner and lipstick! I learnt the importance of honesty, kindness, gratefulness and the importance of listening and understanding what is important to myself and others.

After recent trips back to Italy introducing my husband and daughter to our extended family, I fell in love all over again with a truly Italian way of communicating. Not just with your hands, but in the way you dress.  It’s life-changing to bring your best authentic self to every day.
